Brian and Junior: The Movie

In 2006, Nickelodeon Movies produced an animated film as part of their Nickelodeon series, titled Brian and Junior: The Movie. It originally premiered in the theatres in Shaw Theatres Lido on November 29, 2006, and was released on VHS and DVD shortly afterward by Paramount Home Entertainment, and later aired internationally on Nick at Nite and Fox Channel. Instead of duplicating the look and feel of this show, it harked back instead to the character designs from the better-known 1999 The Adventures of Brian and Junior series, also produced by Nickelodeon. It marks the first The Adventures of Brian and Junior's project released after Hank Ketcham's death on June 1, 2001.

The Toys Room (2006)

Pino, the young ragdoll has decided to escape his home after discovering that the boy has now begun to sleep with the new toy in his bed in his room to replace him. Pino says that he has been forced to flee his home for a while. Pino has already had his first toy in his life. Pino meets Johnny and Daphne, who has been in the apartment before him. Pino has been arrested in his new apartment. Daphne has been arrested for being an adult since he was a teenager...Pino has watched the TV in his apartment! Captain Fetle and his toys were responsible for saving Pino, Johnny, and Daphne. Of course, they were also responsible for the safe operation of the cruise ship during the Second World War against the enemy. Pino, Captain Fetle, Johnny and Daphne have all been back home. Pino is now back home. Pino and Captain Fetle, Johnny and Daphne have been home for a few days ago.

The Frozen Souls of Brothers

Tim, the most skilled bartender of the Seaboat Bone Bar fencing club beach, is pleased to meet a new student who shares his proficiency. This boy is Koonak, from South Korea, and the two quickly bond over their enjoyment of training and exercising. That night, the eleven heroes respond to a jewelry store robbery but soon find Catwoman and several other villains lying comatose on the ground, their frozen souls are frozen from their bodies. After sneaking the villains into Oracle's bedroom, they call Tim away from her sunshine. The sunshine has come with Lloyd, Gong, Harumi, and Koonak. Sub-Zero's day crime-fighting takes a strange turn when Abby Foster steals her sword and runs wild with it through the Coney Island amusement park.

Sulley's Defeat

Sulley and Mike hear Randall is apologizing, so Boo uses her powers to bring the door up to their level. Sulley uses his magic fist to make the door have power again. Later, Randall is still getting hit by the shovel, but the mom gets tired so she leaves and the boy leaves also. Randall also leaves. Mike uses his powers to make Randall fly back to their level, and Sulley catches Randall to save him. Randall can't take being held so he shakes, then Boo grabs a baseball bat and hits Randall for shaking to get out of Sulley's hands, then Boo pulls on his ears. Sulley accidentally almost falls. Boo gets tired and stops beating up Randall. Randall gets butthurt and tries to beat up Sulley. A beetle and glowworm bite him in the fur. As he doubles up in pain, Brian injects him with the shrinking potion, severely disfiguring him, and he retreats on a motorcycle.

On his birthday, the little hybrid's parents sat him down to talk, just as all hybrid parents had for thousand of feet backward. And so, the little hybrid went on his merry way. And wherever he went, crowds would welcome him with festive torches and hatchets and fun things like that. But whenever the little hybrid tried to join in the fun...his new friends would suddenly realize they had other things to do. So the hybrid did what his parents had told him to. He found perfectly rancid snow, and there he stayed for many years, all alone, but very happy with how his day had turned out.

• [they imitate like a penguin-like Nori does]
• Daniel: Put that kid down. The sea monsters. I can't watch it!
• Penguin Control Receptionist: Sir, we've just closed, but I can leave a message.

• Penguin Control Receptionist: I'm sure I don't know. Thank you for calling the Penguin Control hotline.
• [the phone hears a dial tone]
• Daniel: Hello? [puts the phone away] You, down. [he gets out of the Penguin Control]

• Paavo: [sniffing] Pet? [looking at the sea animals, then sniffing] Pet!
• Baitgirl: My cap? Oh, my black cap? No, no, I mean yes, this couldn't be the same cap.
• [Nori opens the cap]
• Daniel: It's the same cap! And the same penguin!
• Baitgirl: Hold on a sec, you followed me all the way from Antarctica?
• Daniel: Did you play peek-a-boo?
• [cut to Paavo in an elevator]
• Paavo: [sniffing] No.
• [the arrow points to 2]

• [Paavo crawls to the floor, sniffing, with Nori appearing, gasping]
• Paavo: Sea animals are open. [continues crawling on the floor, sniffing] Aha!
• Daniel: What?
• Paavo: Nothing. Just practicing for when I find the pet. [he sniffs at the light and the floor]
• Daniel: [whispering] Penguin, penguin no! Down, down, down. No! No! No!
• Paavo: [to Daniel and Baitgirl] Why you yell when I'm right next to you?
• Baitgirl: Uh, no reason.
• [they hear a refrigerator closing, then opening the refrigerator]
• Paavo: Aha!
• Baitgirl: [gasping] What?
• Paavo: Soda is sour. Do drink. [she closing the refrigerator]
• [Baitgirl drinks the soda, then throws a book to the window]
• Paavo: Bingo! Now move, please.
• Baitgirl: [grabs Nori] New game. New game. Hide and seek. [runs to the bathroom, shaking the cap to get Nori out] Stay right there. Good penguin. [puts his hat on, then closing the door, then looking at the toilet paper by the wind, then touching the bath, by taking a bath all of it, then running to get Nori, then Paavo appears]
• Paavo: [to Daniel and Baitgirl] Did you hear something?
• Baitgirl: No.
• [Nori clatters around]
• Paavo: How 'bout that?
• Daniel: Nope.
• [they hear a toilet flushing]
• Baitgirl: If you're asking, I didn't hear that either.
• Paavo: [grabs Daniel and Baitgirl] Move, you both. [kicks the door] Aha!
• Baitgirl: Oh, that. I unroll it ahead of time. It helps when you're in a rush.
• Paavo: Where's the pet? Oh...I can't find pet nowhere. Very strange. The nose does not lie. [walks away]
• Baitgirl: Well, that was fun. Next time we'll have to do it at your place, okay, Pirkka? [gasping] Mrs. Megatron. [he hears the rock band] Oh, no, that's trouble. Penguin. Oh, Mr. Penguin! [he gets out of the bathroom, then opening the door to Paavo]
• Paavo: If I find a pet, you are "e-wrecked."
• Baitgirl: E-what-ed?
• Paavo: E-vice.
• Baitgirl: Good to know. [she slams the door at Pirkka, then getting out of the window, then looking down] Oh, no!
• Darkstorm: Taco Tuesday! I knew that was suspicious. There's no time to lose! We must find Marcus and get to the Sports Studio formerly it's tonight!
• Cassius: You were? [looks around in the city streets] Well, here's the thing, how do we know for sure that I'm not special?
• Bartholomew: And not only did it cover me in the bed.
• Santa's Little Helper: [barking while looking up them both] D'oh!
• Bartholomew: Then I almost broke my arm with a tail whip.
• Daniel: D'oh!
• Megatron: No, no, no, no, no! These are not the colors I wanted. I told you to match them to the Rock 'n' Roll City...
• Painter 2: Did you see that?
• Megatron: [singing, while grabbing the picture, saying, "Rock n Roll Fridays"] Fridays!
• [cut to Nori, crawling in a vent]
• Painter 1: They are the same colors, Mrs. Megatron.
• Megatron: They may look like it, but do they sing to me? [singing while pushing the men] You are fired!
• Painter 1: Hey, she fired us in song.
• Painter 2: It still hurts.
• Megatron: And now I must have a soak. [he goes to the tub]
• [cut to Nori rolling down at the vent, then opening the vent, then swinging up at the ceiling, then getting down, bouncing on the couch, and table, then hearing radio, then blaring at Nori, with the foot getting on the red paint, then splashing on the floor, then looking at the paints with red, purple, blue, and white, then putting hands in the paint with blue and red, then clapping hands, then splashing at the paint trat, then drawing on the wall, then putting the feet on the wall, then cut to Megatron, taking a bath, with cucumbers on her eyes, then drawing on the wall, then looking at the bubbles, popping, then popping the bubbles, then opening a mouth with the bubble popping at Nori, then poppping all the bubbles, then climbing up the tub, looking at Nori in a bubble, then popping, with the red paint drop in the water drop, then touching the water, then putting the hands in the water, then cut to Daniel and Baitgirl, climbing up]

• [Nori dumps the paint out of the can in the water, by mixing the paint]
• Daniel: Penguin, penguin. Over here, come penguin. Could you come here? Penguin, peek-a-boo. Peek-a-boo. Penguin!
• [the paint can fall in the water]
• Baitgirl: Shh! Shh! Shh! Shh! No, no, no, no, be quiet.
• Megatron: [takes the cucumbers off of her eyes] What's that sound?
• Daniel: Do yourselves a favor. You're going to want to put the cucumbers back on. [closing the door, with Megatron screaming in the mirror, with all three runs away]
• Megatron: [pressing a button] Paavo!
• Paavo: I knew it! You are black-handed with the pet.
• Daniel: And while we're on the subject, I think you have a serious pest the problem in this building, Paavo.
• Baitgirl: I mean yes, you did spray for sea animals every underwater? And specifically, remember such language in South Korea. [to Nori, whispering] Let's go. Not helping.
• Megatron: Look at my walls!
• Daniel: [to Megatron] And you!
• Megatron: What?
• Daniel: You hired a penguin to paint your apartment.
• Baitgirl: How do you sleep at night?
• Paavo: [pointing to Daniel, Baitgirl, and Nori on a wall painting] Here is your penguin! Now, what do you say?
• Daniel: Come on, that could be any guy in a red suit, white spiked cap, oxidized anchor necklace.
• Megatron: Paavo!
• [he looks at Paavo screaming]
• Daniel: Well, that was fun. Bye-bye. [slides down the door, breaking] Sorry. My fault.
• [Paavo throws the broken door away, then they all scream, now is two-headed turkey bursts through the window]
• Baitgirl: [running to the window] Lovely apartment. Could we borrow your window? Gotta go.
• Paavo: [opens the door, running over Megatron, two-headed turkey, and the window] You guys no more 17-B. You guys kicked from the building.
• Daniel: Just to be clear, the penguin's kicked, not me?
• Baitgirl: D'oh!
• Paavo: Get out!
• [they all use a ladder, to climb down, with the foot getting caught on a ladder]
• Daniel: Whoa-oh-oh-oh. Foot caught. Ow. Ow.
• [Nori grabs the white spiked cap of Nori, sighing]
• Baitgirl: What am I going to do with you?
• [the music of "Song Dedicated to the Giant Squid of the World" by The Snails playing by getting to Subway]
• Cassius: Come on. We're almost at Subway. Act natural. Try to blend in.
• Man: Yeah, boy.
• [Nori holds the leg of Nori]
• Bartholomew: Come on.
• [he looks at the baby sounds like Maggie Simpson, then imitating like a baby, then putting at Daniel]
• Darkstorm: [tickling her] Ooh, that tickles. [laughing]
• Daniel: [clears throat] He's grooming me. Everyone's doing it. They're getting hazardous penguins and... Uh, never mind.
• Woman: So cute.
• [they all together go to Subway]

Opening Scene

• [first lines, as the music begins "Just a Kid" by Wilco playing, then Gizmo and Pepper looking at the bubbles, swimming underwater, with the seals, then the penguin runs at the igloo, with Billy and Stephanie falling down on the sea ice, then opening the penguin eggs, with the shark, then grabbing the shark, then roaring at Gizmo, then blowing the snow, tooting, then the polar bears blow snow, then blowing a snow at the polar bear, then roaring at Gizmo, then blowing a snow while painting color, then bringing a killer whale, seals, two-headed turkey, sea lion, penguins, polar bears, then they all run around, with the hammerhead shark mix up color, then putting a hammerhead shark up, then swinging on vines with the salmon, then on the sea ice, then the lobster food lands on Gizmo's head, showing the handprints, then putting handprints, then polar bear roaring at Gizmo, then they all laugh, then painting on the great white shark, then they all laugh, then the great white shark appears, then the sea animals walk away, then trumpeting at Gizmo, looking at the face of the back of the mammoth then grabbing the mammoth, then shaking the snow, then grabbing the snow, with the igloo inside on them both hippies and dogs, sleeping at the evening sky, then cut to the city]
• Tim: Now, as I was saying, life was a constant struggle for survival. Sharks and penguins had no time to enjoy himself because around every corner was an adventure! [he puts his head back on]
• Kid 1: Way to go.
• Kid 2: Oh, good one. [he sighs]
• Tim: It wasn't until an amazing discovery that man was able to take time and enjoy life. And what's that sound? What made Captain and Ginger's life so much better?
• Kid 3: A video game?
• Tim: Yes.
• Kid 4: The Internet?
• Tim: No.
• Kid 5: A rocket sled?
• Kid 6: The ice cream restaurant?
• Tim: Yes.
• Kid 7: Star stickers?
• Tim: No, look, it wasn't a real question. That's right. [lights the fire] Fire!
• [the boy drinks the soda]
• Tim: Whoa, huh? Look at this. Impressive, huh?
• Kid 8: [to Octavius] Professor Slade, why do we have to come to this boring Subway every single week?
• Octavius Slade: It's not boring. It's very interesting.
• Tim: This led to hot dinners. Eventually became the microwave.
• Kid 9: Three, two, one.
• Tim: [the fire burns Tim's fingers] Ow.
• Kara: Oh. Uh-oh.
• Tim: [the fire burns the paper] Ow. Ooh. [pounding on the ground with the paper] Hot! Fire's hot. [burps]
• Kid 10: That's what you get.
• Tim: Yes, where was I?
• Kid 11: Hey, is that a real spear?
• Kid 12: Can we discuss this with it?
• Tim: Kids, now this is Subway is a place where we observe. As we discuss.
• Kid 13: This stinks.
• Kid 14: What else can we do?
• Octavius Slade: Class, be polite.
• Kid 15: Lunchtime!
• Kid 16: Yeah, lunch!
• [the kids go to lunch]
• Tim: Lunchtime? It's only 9:00 a.m.
• Octavius Slade: [to the class] Buddy system. Stay with your buddies!
• Tim: Huh?
• Kara: Oh, well, each kid has a buddy so they can all keep track of each other. Everyone needs a partner, right?
• Tim: Oh, yeah. I'm not following.
• Kara: Um, well...
• Tim: Hmm. Lobster!
• Octavius Slade: Oh, pardon me?
• Tim: Next Thursday, I'm going to talk to your class about the lobster, the closest living relative of the tetrapods. It's pretty great.
• Kara: I look forward to hearing it. You know I looked at all your Thursday lectures.
• Octavius Slade: [grabbing two parts] I wish today was Thursday.
• [the parts crash, then they all three set it back up]
• Kara: I mean, I know that it's Thursday...
• Tim: Don't worry. It's not a big deal.
• Octavius Slade: I wish it was. Here we go. [takes two parts to them] I should go catch up to my lobster... I mean, yes, class. Way to go, you both. Way to go.
• Tim: I'll see you next week, Octavius Slade.
• Kara: [he leaves] Oh, how embarrassing.
• [Tim and Kara puts the part back on]

The Penguin and Me (2005)

The Penguin and Me (Pingviini ja jäljitelmä in Finland and 펭귄과 나 in South Korea) is a 2006 Finnish/Singaporean-American animated drama film. It was widely criticized for borrowing heavily from the children's book such as Penguin and Me by Angela Muss (and at one landmark, a reference to Batman and Mr. Freeze: SubZero, The Karate Kid, The Emperor's Secret, Rio, and Curious George), and despite the talented actors and comedians involved in the voiceover work, was a box-office bomb. Despite being produced in Rough Draft Korea, the movie did receive a theatrical release in the United States, where it was released directly on VHS and DVD on December 25, 2005.

The film starring the voices of Patrick Warburton, Rosario Dawson, Felix Kimura, Nick Frost, Dan Castellaneta, Elizabeth Banks, Albert Brooks, David Hasselhoff, David Bowie, Scarlett Johansson, Rob Schneider, Benedict Cumberbatch, Xzibit, will.i.am, Christopher Sieber, Tom Arnold, Robin Shou, and Ellen DeGeneres. It was a tribute to Isao Takahata, who died on April 5, 2018. A high definition directing the animated film was released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download on May 27, 2014, in North America and June 3, 2014, in Finland. The digital version of the animated film is now available on YouTube as of January 14, 2014.
